Define the envelope
Confirm solids, particle distribution, viscosity, temperature, corrosion, filtrate target and cycle time.
Engineering approach
Filtration is not a vessel datasheet. It is the combined result of material behavior, media, mechanical design and automation.
Engineering method
Each step has defined inputs, outputs and validation evidence, reducing uncertainty during scale-up.
Confirm solids, particle distribution, viscosity, temperature, corrosion, filtrate target and cycle time.
Test filter cloth, sintered elements, filter aids and pre-coat strategy with real material.
Define flux, pressure, cake thickness, washing, drying and discharge from measured results.
Engineer the vessel, valves, instruments, PLC/DCS, interlocks and heel recovery.
Filter element & cake release
During filtration, cloth is supported against the perforated profile. During blowback it expands toward a round shape, releasing cake and restoring performance.
